Day -36: Valparaiso, IN
Let the countdown begin!In 36 short days I will be flying across the Atlantic en route to Reutlingen, Germany; and I am beside myself with excitement. I, of course, have many things to attend to here in the States before I can leave; but as for now, I am beginning to shift my focus a few thousand miles away. I will be studying at the Fachhochschule fur Technik und Wirtschaft in Reutlingen for the four months of the upcoming semester. Along with attending classes and immersing myself wholly in the German culture, I will be spending a great deal of time on trains, planes and buses exploring as much of Europe as possible.
My intention is to keep this blog updated with stories and pictures from my experience. I am leaving many people behind while on this journey; and I want you all to know what I am experiencing.
So mark your calendars for January 10, 2007--a mere 36 days away!
